Emerald Publishing Limited, an award-winning independent publisher focused on mission-driven research, has announced its acquisition of the majority of Thomas Telford Limited's (TTL) book catalogue and all journal titles and related publishing assets. TTL is the commercial arm of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). The sale includes 35 peer-reviewed journals, over 1,500 eBooks, and a rich collection of 36,000 research articles dating back to 1836.
As part of the agreement, Emerald Publishing has been granted a license to utilize the ICE Publishing brand and ICE Name for the acquired titles and assets. This collaboration marks the beginning of a promising partnership between Emerald Publishing and ICE, aimed at ensuring the long-term success and advancement of the publications.
