Sage, a global academic publisher of books, journals, and library resources, has announced the acquisition of Hubro Education, a renowned developer of business simulations for academic institutions, corporations, and individual skill development. Hubro Education's expertise in game development, learning science, and business studies has resulted in the creation of award-winning business simulations.
Hubro Education originated as an in-house project at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2013 before transitioning into a standalone business. Today, it offers a comprehensive suite of online business simulations for various courses, including marketing, finance, accounting, business, and sustainability. Following the acquisition, Hubro's product development, sales, and marketing will continue to operate under its existing management from its offices in Oslo, Norway.
