Jisc and The Glenlead Centre collaborate to advance accessibility of digital tools and AI in higher education -

Jisc, the UK's technology solutions provider for education and research, has joined forces with The Glenlead Centre to launch the "Accessible Digital Futures" project, aimed at making digital tools and artificial intelligence (AI) more accessible in higher education (HE). This collaborative initiative will bring together HE leaders from across the UK to explore opportunities and address barriers related to accessibility in the realm of digital and AI technologies.

In an era where new digital and AI technologies are reshaping various aspects of society, including higher education, the project seeks to leverage these advancements to enhance inclusiveness and productivity. The collaboration between Jisc and The Glenlead Centre aims to examine the potential of accessible digital and AI technologies in HE through a series of bespoke events, titled "Accessible Digital Futures: Unlocking the Potential for Accessible Digital and AI Technologies in Higher Education."

The project will convene digital leaders from UK higher education institutions for discussions on topics such as opportunities for accessible AI, products and procurement, institutional ownership, and lessons learned internationally. The outcomes of these events will provide advice and guidance to key stakeholders across policy, industry, and the HE sector.

The "Accessible Digital Futures" project aims to act as a facilitator for the HE sector, fostering collaboration between education leaders and industry to realize the potential of making digital and AI accessible to all.
