PeerJ, a leading open-access publisher, is thrilled to welcome the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UT Knoxville) as its latest Institutional Member. This partnership marks a significant milestone in providing UT Knoxville faculty, staff, and students with unlimited, fee-free publishing opportunities across all PeerJ journals.
Through PeerJ's Author Institutional Membership (AIMs) program, UT Knoxville affiliates gain access to APC-free publishing, eliminating the financial barriers associated with article processing charges (APCs). Any corresponding or submitting author using a valid UT email address to submit their research to PeerJ will automatically qualify for membership benefits. For individuals affiliated with UT Knoxville but using a different email address, access to the university's Annual Institutional Membership can be requested by contacting authors@peerj.com.
The University of Tennessee Libraries, committed to ensuring equity of access to information, views open access to research and scholarship as fundamental to fostering a strong and just community. As part of a land-grant institution, UT Libraries are dedicated to normalizing open access to research for students, faculty, and residents of Tennessee.
