Effective February 2024, Ex Libris's AI metadata generator is operational, initially targeting select ProQuest EBook Central records. Notably, this implementation has augmented fields such as language, summary, and subject headings, aligning with the rigorous standards set forth by the Library of Congress. Plans are underway to expand both the scope of records and the breadth of fields enriched by this innovative AI-driven solution.
