Pearson steps up AI learning content development to meet rising demand -

As the demand for AI-related skills skyrockets amidst the rapid evolution of Generative AI, Pearson, the world’s leading learning company, is ramping up efforts to provide cutting-edge learning content in the field of artificial intelligence. With the adoption of advanced technologies like AI on the rise, the World Economic Forum's The Future of Jobs Report 2023 predicts that 44% of workers will require upskilling or reskilling over the next five years.

To address this urgent need, Pearson is introducing new learning content tailored to cover various aspects of AI application, catering to both students and professionals. The expanded AI content portfolio includes:

• Over 10 new IT professional AI titles, delving into topics ranging from prompt engineering to the utilization of AI in customer support.

• Updates to existing AI-focused higher education and professional learning content to ensure relevance and accuracy, with titles like Quick Start Guide to Large Language Models by Sinan Ozdemir receiving revisions.

• 30 on-demand AI video courses and over 580 hours of live virtual AI training events, led by industry experts who also author Pearson titles. This marks a significant increase from the video content offered in 2023.

Pearson's commitment to investing in the responsible application of AI is evident in its efforts to advance product innovation and enhance the learning experience. The new AI content supplements Pearson's flagship titles like Artificial Intelligence: A Modern Approach, authored by Stuart Russell, Professor at the University of California-Berkeley, and Peter Norvig, Director of Research at Google.

As AI continues to shape various industries and redefine job roles, Pearson remains dedicated to equipping learners with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in an AI-driven world.
