EDP Sciences has shared the progress of journals in the recently announced Journal Citation Reports™ and CiteScores. The latest results not only demonstrate a collective and consistent performance across our publications but also highlight notable individual achievements in important research areas including Sustainable Development, Radioprotection, and Astronomy. These advancements highlight the dedication and contributions of authors, editors, and reviewers, affirming the growing impact and importance of our publications in their respective fields.
In recent years, EDP Sciences has firmly committed to supporting the advancement of research towards the attainment of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By signing the UN SDG Publishers Compact in 2022, we committed to ten points that support the seventeen SDGs, including “Actively promoting and acquiring content that advocates for themes represented by the SDGs, such as equality, sustainability, justice, and safeguarding and strengthening the environment.”
EPJ Photovoltaics is indexed in the Emerging Sciences Citation Index with an Impact Factor of 1.9 and already ranks in four CiteScore categories, including the rapidly growing and competitive discipline of Renewable Energy, Sustainability, and the Environment.
OCL-Oilseeds and Fats, Crops, and Lipids is indexed in the Emerging Sciences Citation Index with an Impact Factor of 1.8 and has a CiteScore of 4.7. The journal covers a broad spectrum of topics, including nutrition, the health-quality-food safety nexus, innovation and industrial processes, the environment, and sustainable development – all key themes supporting progress towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Aquatic Living Resources saw its Impact Factor increase by 36%, now standing at 1.5. The journal is an important resource for ecosystem-based approaches to the study of fisheries and aquaculture.
Cahiers Agricultures received a solid Impact Factor of 1. It is a mainly French-language scientific journal focused on world farming systems, their changes, and their role in society.
BSGF-Earth Sciences Bulletin, a scientific reference in all fields of earth sciences, retained its commendable Impact Factor of 2.6.
Radioprotection saw an Impact Factor increase of 27%, now standing at 1.4. It ranks in six CiteScore categories, including Nuclear Energy and Engineering, and Renewable Energy, Sustainability, and the Environment.
With its new listing in the Music category in Scopus, Acta Acustica has reached the 12th position out of 180 journals for the first time. This new categorisation joins its rankings in both the Speech and Hearing and Acoustics and Ultrasonics categories.
With a strong Impact Factor of 5.4 and an increase in CiteScore to 10.2, Astronomy & Astrophysics ranks 10th out of 90 in the Astronomy and Astrophysics category, as well as 11th out of 104 in Space and Planetary Science – both firmly in the top quartile.
Journal of Space Weather and Space Climate continues to be a highly-cited resource in the discipline, with an Impact Factor of 3.4, up 3%. Its CiteScore has also increased to 6.9, ranking in the top quartile of the Space and Planetary Science category for the first time and reflecting its increasing importance in the discipline.
Launched in 1923 and publishing continuously for over 100 years, Parasite continues to rank in the 91st percentile of the Animal Science and Zoology category, with an increase in CiteScore to 5.5.
