Sage Publishing has announced the acquisition of several high-impact business titles from Textbook Media Press, a publisher known for its digital and print higher education textbooks. This strategic expansion, which includes textbooks in accounting, finance, business, and marketing, further strengthens Sage's growing business portfolio.
The acquisition builds on Sage’s recent expansion efforts, including the purchase of Chicago Business Press in 2023. Chicago Business Press focuses on mid-to upper-level business, management, marketing, and sales courses. In addition, Sage acquired Hubro Education, a company known for developing business simulations for academic institutions, corporations, and individual skill development. Further solidifying its position in the academic space, Sage’s acquisition of Cambridge Business Publishers in 2024 added over 30 key titles in accounting and finance, alongside the innovative myBusinessCourse platform.
With these new additions, Sage continues to diversify its offerings in the business education sector. The company publishes a wide range of resources, including journals, textbooks, and digital materials. These resources cover essential business topics such as ethics, human resource management, entrepreneurship, leadership, and more.
Sage's latest acquisitions reinforce its commitment to providing comprehensive educational materials that support the academic and professional growth of students and professionals across a variety of business disciplines. Through this expansion, Sage is poised to continue its leadership in the business publishing space, offering world-class resources that empower learning and development.
