ResearchGate, the professional network for researchers, has announced a new collaboration with CSIRO Publishing, Australia's leading science publisher. The partnership, which will cover over half of CSIRO Publishing's internationally respected journal portfolio, includes 16 journals spanning key disciplines such as agriculture, chemistry, health, and environmental science.
Under the agreement, more than 77,000 articles, including both hybrid and fully open access titles, will be made available to ResearchGate’s active community of over 25 million researchers. Researchers from subscribing institutions will also gain access to subscription-based articles. This will significantly expand access to high-quality research content for the global academic community.
The new collaboration will leverage ResearchGate’s Journal Home platform, which aims to increase the visibility and reach of CSIRO Publishing’s journals. Through this platform, journals will gain brand recognition, while offering dedicated journal profiles and data insights to help deepen understanding of their readership and impact. This initiative will not only increase the exposure of CSIRO journals but also help connect researchers to the relevant academic communities.
Authors will also benefit from this partnership, as their publications will seamlessly update in their ResearchGate profiles, driving engagement and creating instant networking and collaboration opportunities. This partnership represents a major step in fostering global connections and advancing research dissemination.
