ResearchGate, the professional network for researchers, and Wiley, a major global academic publisher, have expanded their Journal Home partnership to include 1,000 active Wiley journals. The milestone marks a significant development in Wiley’s strategy to extend the global visibility and reach of its journal portfolio via integrated online research communities.
The continued expansion of the Journal Home program follows consistent growth in engagement metrics. Over the past year, Wiley journals on ResearchGate have reached more than 2 million researchers, resulting in over 950,000 article uploads to author profiles, 52 million article reads, and more than 190,000 citations.
The integration is designed to align journal content with researcher workflows and increase discoverability within the ResearchGate platform. This model facilitates sustained interaction between academic publishers and the scientific community by embedding journal visibility into the daily activities of researchers, including reading, sharing, and submitting manuscripts.
According to ResearchGate, Wiley’s early and ongoing participation in the Journal Home initiative has contributed to direct engagement with relevant research communities and strengthened the connection between journal content and global audiences. The milestone underscores both organizations’ shared objective to improve access to scholarly communication and enhance the discoverability of peer-reviewed content.
