ResearchGate, a professional network for researchers, has entered into a Journal Home partnership with Hogrefe Publishing, a European academic publisher specializing in psychology, psychotherapy, and psychiatry. The collaboration will increase the global visibility of 15 English-language journals published by Hogrefe, including both fully open access and hybrid titles.
Through this partnership, the version-of-record for articles from Hogrefe journals will be made directly available on the ResearchGate platform, which currently serves a community of more than 25 million researcher members. This integration is intended to enhance the discoverability of Hogrefe’s content within an active and discipline-relevant audience.
The agreement includes the creation of dedicated journal profile pages on ResearchGate, with consistent branding across article and journal content. Authors will also benefit from the automatic syndication of their published work to their ResearchGate profiles and network feeds, increasing visibility and readership. In addition, Hogrefe will gain access to data insights on user engagement, providing a basis for targeted outreach and improved community-building strategies.
The initiative is designed to strengthen relationships between the publisher and its journal communities by supporting broader dissemination and deeper engagement with published research. The partnership reflects Hogrefe’s aim to connect its authors with relevant research communities and expand the international reach of its publications.
ResearchGate emphasized the collaboration as an opportunity to extend its connections within the psychology research domain, offering Hogrefe’s authors enhanced global engagement and avenues for collaboration.
