ResearchGate, the professional network for researchers and World Scientific Publishing, a global independent publisher of books and journals have expanded their Journal Home partnership to include 19 journals, reinforcing their joint mission to increase global visibility, readership, and engagement for scholarly content. The collaboration builds on a successful foundation, with ResearchGate’s platform, which is used by over 25 million researchers, serving as a dynamic platform for amplifying academic reach and author impact.
Through the expanded partnership, a broader mix of World Scientific’s fully open access and hybrid journals will benefit from Journal Home’s integration into the research discovery process. Key features of the service include enhanced visibility for full-text content, targeted distribution across ResearchGate’s network, and streamlined integration into author profiles. These tools encourage high-quality submissions and deeper audience engagement throughout the publication lifecycle.
Participating journals gain several advantages:
• Integrated author engagement to encourage connections across all research stages and help attract strong submissions.
• Content amplification involves making articles, including subscription-access content, discoverable and promoted to relevant research community members.
• Stronger journal branding with dedicated profile pages and consistent visuals to enhance visibility for potential contributors.
• Seamless author experience where newly published content is automatically added to author profiles, increasing interaction, citation potential, and reach.
According to World Scientific’s Managing Director, Max Phua, the initiative has helped deepen connections with readers and broaden journal reach. ResearchGate’s Co-founder, Sören Hofmayer added that the partnership has elevated the visibility of World Scientific research while enhancing the author’s experience.
The agreement reflects both organizations’ shared objective to support academic engagement and promote wider access to peer-reviewed literature.
