Wiley has announced new file compatibility in its KnowItAll 2026 software release for raw Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) files from Nanalysis, a company specializing in benchtop NMR spectrometers and MRI instrumentation.
The integration enables KnowItAll users to include low-field NMR data analysis into their analytical workflows, extending the software’s multi-technique capabilities. Nanalysis users can now incorporate KnowItAll’s full suite of NMR analysis tools, covering raw spectral data processing, database creation, prediction, searching, and access to Wiley’s extensive NMR data collections for efficient compound identification.
Wiley’s KnowItAll NMR database collection currently includes more than 1.28 million one-dimensional spectra for 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, and X-NMR (11B, 15N, 17O, 19F, 29Si, 31P), along with optional add-on collections.
Graeme Whitley, Senior Director of Data Science Solutions, Wiley, highlighted that the addition of native support for Nanalysis NMR files reflects the company’s continued efforts to enhance compatibility across analytical laboratory workflows and instrument manufacturers.
Dr. Susanne Riegel, Vice President of Marketing and Product Management, Nanalysis, noted that democratizing NMR requires software that simplifies spectral interpretation and broadens routine laboratory use in fields such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, materials, and polymers. She added that the partnership with Wiley’s KnowItAll ensures users can access advanced databases and search algorithms to support these goals.
KnowItAll provides a unified, manufacturer-neutral platform for identifying, analyzing, and managing analytical data across multiple techniques, including IR, GC-MS, LC-MS, NMR, Raman, and UV-Vis. Supported by Wiley’s high-quality spectral reference libraries and advanced search algorithms, KnowItAll delivers rapid, reliable spectral analysis to streamline laboratory workflows and improve decision-making. Subscription access is required for some features.
