AAAS adds Cancer Communications to Science Partner Journal program -

The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) has partnered with Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center (SYSUCC) to publish Cancer Communications as part of the Science Partner Journal (SPJ) program.

Cancer Communications publishes research in basic, clinical, and translational cancer research, including studies in clinical trials, epidemiology, molecular and cellular biology, and genetics. Professor Rui-Hua Xu from SYSUCC serves as Editor-in-Chief.

The journal aims to create a global platform for advancing oncology research by promoting international collaboration and disseminating breakthroughs across disciplines. As an SPJ member, Cancer Communications will operate under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY) and publish content continuously as an Open Access title. Submissions are being accepted through Editorial Manager.

AAAS described the new partnership as an expansion of the SPJ family, noting that Cancer Communications has established a strong reputation for publishing quality and impactful cancer research.

The SPJ program adds new English-language titles on a regular basis and invites partnerships across scientific disciplines. Partner organizations retain editorial independence and manage editorial boards that follow best practices in peer review and author services.
