Jisc and the Association of Colleges (AoC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize a strategic partnership that advances digital transformation across the further education (FE) sector. The collaboration integrates Jisc’s digital expertise with AoC’s sector-wide reach to support colleges in improving digital maturity, efficiency, and learner outcomes.
The agreement establishes a framework for coordinated initiatives in digital leadership, cyber resilience, and ethical use of artificial intelligence. It emphasizes technology’s role as a catalyst for operational improvement and innovation in teaching and learning.
A joint executive steering group will oversee the implementation of shared objectives, including unified advocacy on digital policy and consistent sector communication. The partnership also prioritizes supporting colleges in strengthening cyber resilience and adopting AI responsibly to protect institutional integrity and student data.
The MoU marks a significant milestone in strengthening collaboration between Jisc and AoC. By combining resources and expertise, both organizations aim to help colleges navigate the evolving digital landscape and ensure that technology continues to enhance outcomes for learners and educators.
