American College of Cardiology and OpenEvidence partner to advance AI-driven cardiovascular care -

The American College of Cardiology (ACC) and OpenEvidence have entered a strategic partnership to enhance the translation of cardiovascular clinical guidance and research into everyday medical practice. The collaboration combines ACC’s leadership in cardiovascular science and education with OpenEvidence’s generative AI to deliver evidence-based insights at the point of care.

The partnership supports shared decision-making by providing clinicians and patients with curated, trustworthy medical content using generative AI-powered search. OpenEvidence users will receive ACC’s content, integrating scientific updates directly into clinical workflows.

The ACC and OpenEvidence will establish a work group of cardiovascular specialists to identify key areas of focus and address knowledge gaps. The group will also provide educational content to support the responsible adoption of generative AI in cardiovascular medicine.

Upcoming initiatives include the launch of an ACC/OpenEvidence AI Resource Center and a podcast series exploring the impact of AI on cardiovascular medicine. The collaboration will also feature at the ACC Future Hub during the College’s Annual Scientific Session, where clinicians can engage with new technologies designed to enhance evidence-based care and improve patient outcomes.
