ResearchGate and Pensoft expand Journal Home partnership to 40 journals -

ResearchGate and Pensoft Publishers have expanded their Journal Home partnership to include 40 journals, covering the majority of Pensoft and partner titles hosted on the ARPHA Publishing Platform. The expansion builds on a collaboration first announced in 2023.

The participating journals include titles affiliated with organizations such as the Natural History Museum in Berlin, Swiss Academy of Sciences (SCNAT), International Association for Vegetation Science (IAVS), and International Biogeography Society (TIBS). Recently launched journals, including Individual-based Ecology, Natural History Collections and Museomics, and Food and Ecological Systems Modelling Journal, are also included.

The expanded participation reflects demand for greater exposure and engagement, particularly among smaller and developing journals in specialized research areas. Through Journal Home, partner publishers gain access to ResearchGate’s community of more than 25 million researcher members.

Participating journals receive increased usage and readership, with full-text open access journal content surfaced to relevant researcher communities on the platform. Additional features include stronger engagement with potential authors throughout the research lifecycle, dedicated journal profiles, prominent placement to enhance visibility and branding, and automatic addition of published articles to author profiles. Authors are also provided clearer insight into reader engagement and collaboration opportunities.

Leadership from both organizations indicated that the partnership supports discoverability, broader reach for specialist titles, and stronger connections between journals and relevant research communities at key stages of the scholarly publishing lifecycle.
