Virtusa and Wiley announce multi-year managed services partnership supporting technology transformation -

Virtusa Corporation and Wiley have announced a multi-year managed services partnership under which Virtusa will provide infrastructure and application services while supporting Wiley’s strategic technology initiatives. The partnership has been framed as an initial step toward accelerating Wiley’s technology transformation, with the stated objectives including better customer service and improvements in innovation, productivity gains, and cost efficiencies.

According to the announcement, Wiley expects the arrangement to free up capital for high-return investments and enable its technology teams to focus on developing next-generation customer platforms and AI-powered solutions. The partnership has also been described as supporting operational efficiencies and cost savings, modernizing enterprise technology management, and allowing increased focus on product innovation.

Virtusa has described itself as bringing expertise in technology transformation and experience supporting organizations in modernizing operations. The company has highlighted that it provides industrial-scale capabilities and access to automation and AI platforms, including Virtusa Helio, which has been described as a suite of platform-powered AI-native services delivering domain-driven solutions across enterprise applications and infrastructure.

The partnership has also been described as a milestone for Virtusa in supporting organizations pursuing technology transformation. As part of the collaboration, Virtusa has assumed ownership of Wiley’s Sri Lanka technology operation. According to Virtusa, the company’s established presence in Sri Lanka, supported by more than three decades of innovation and delivery experience in the country, is intended to provide continuity to Wiley’s technology operations as Wiley optimizes its technology foundation and positions itself to respond more rapidly to evolving customer needs.
