GetFTR (Get Full Text Research) has expanded its publisher network and research-discovery ecosystem through new free-tier publishing participants and additional integrations with research tools, supporting its mission to improve access to trusted scholarly content.
The GetFTR free-tier program, which is designed to help smaller publishers adopt GetFTR at no cost, has added three new partners: King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, Acta Physica Sinica, and Life Science Alliance. The additions broaden the program’s global reach and support greater visibility and accessibility for scholarly content across regions and disciplines.
GetFTR also announced that the American Psychological Association (APA) has expanded its participation in the service. In addition, APA has integrated its APA PsycInfo abstracting and indexing discovery platform with GetFTR. With this expansion, APA is now participating as a publisher, meaning APA’s content will be signposted and made accessible through any research or discovery tool integrated with GetFTR, as well as through websites for users of the GetFTR Browser Extension.
GetFTR has also added new integrations to its integrator network. These include Cypris, an AI-powered research platform, and the CAS BioFinder Discovery Platform, which supports discovery across drug discovery workflows. The additions expand the number of tools through which researchers can connect with authoritative full-text content.
