IPA EC member Dante Cid of Brazil participated in a final webinar ahead of the launch of the Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure Interchange (AIII), which is designed to facilitate global dialogue on the technical and operational aspects of the intellectual property system in the context of artificial intelligence.
Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure Interchange (AIII) will officially launch on March 17, 2026, from WIPO Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, and online. The launch event will include keynote addresses, panel discussions, and updates on upcoming AIII activities.
The AIII is a joint initiative of the IP and Frontier Technologies Division and the Copyright Management Division. It does not establish policy or legal standards, but instead focuses on how technical systems and tools can support creators, copyright owners, and innovators while promoting the development of AI technology in a rapidly evolving environment.
During the final webinar before the launch, Brazilian publisher Dante Cid discussed the value publishers can contribute to AI tools and platforms by providing high-quality, reliable content.
