Canadian Science Publishing (CSP) has announced a partnership with the Society of Toxicology of Canada (STC) involving two journals: Contaminants, Environment, and Society (CES) and the Canadian Journal of Physiology and Pharmacology (CJPP).
The collaboration reflects the alignment between STC’s mission and CSP’s publishing focus. CES, CSP’s newest journal, is positioned to support research in ecotoxicology, while CJPP provides a longstanding platform for pharmacological and toxicological studies.
Through this partnership, STC, CES, and CJPP will work together to expand publishing opportunities for toxicology researchers. The agreement is expected to:
• Increase visibility of STC research by connecting members with targeted audiences in toxicology and related fields.
• Support professional development through opportunities for STC members to serve as peer reviewers, editorial board members, and guest editors.
• Assist early‑career researchers with training initiatives such as publishing workshops and conference abstract publication.
The STC represents toxicologists across Canada from industry, government, and academia. Its areas of interest include mechanistic, clinical, and applied toxicology, with contributions to regulatory toxicology, ecotoxicology, and pharmaceutical and chemical development.
