The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) has announced a partnership with the Science and Technology Review Publishing House, under the leadership of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), to publish Research Future as part of the Science Partner Journal (SPJ) program.
Research Future is a multidisciplinary journal designed to publish comprehensive review articles that advance knowledge in life sciences, physical sciences, engineering, and applied sciences. The journal accepts submissions that highlight meaningful progress in these fields, including new discoveries, innovative experimental or computational approaches, translational applications, or syntheses of rapidly developing areas of research. Manuscript categories include Reviews, Perspectives, Commentaries, Opinions, and Editorials.
Professor Tie Jun Cui of Southeast University serves as Editor‑in‑Chief. The journal is currently open for submissions and publishes under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY). Professor Cui noted that the journal, as a sister publication to Research, aims to become a forward‑looking review journal that advances knowledge across disciplines and supports scientists worldwide in shaping the future of research.
Titles in the Science Partner Journal program are added regularly, with participation limited to English‑language publications. AAAS continues to seek new partners across scientific disciplines. Journals in the program remain editorially independent, with partner organizations responsible for establishing editorial boards that uphold best practices in peer review and author service.
