Bioscientifica partners with GetFTR to improve discoverability of journal content -

Bioscientifica, a not-for-profit publisher serving the biomedical research community, has partnered with GetFTR (Get Full Text Research) to improve the discoverability and accessibility of its journal content across scholarly research platforms and discovery tools.

Owned by the Society for Endocrinology, Bioscientifica works with learned societies and the scientific community to publish research in endocrinology and related biomedical disciplines. Its journal portfolio includes Journal of Endocrinology, Endocrine-Related Cancer, and Endocrine Connections.

Through the partnership, researchers and clinicians will be able to identify access options for Bioscientifica's journal articles through GetFTR-enabled research and discovery platforms, including Scopus, Scite, Web of Science, and CABI Digital Library. Access information is also available through the GetFTR's free browser extension.

GetFTR provides full-text indicators and links that help users determine whether the authoritative version of a research article is available through an institutional subscription, open access, or free-to-read access. These indicators are intended to help researchers navigate directly to available full-text content from the platforms they use to discover scholarly literature.

The partnership reflects ongoing efforts across scholarly publishing to improve links between research discovery services and the full text of published articles, helping researchers identify available access routes across different platforms.
