NISO Plus 2026
The NISO Plus 2026 Conference will be held February 16–18, 2026, at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront in Baltimore, Maryland. Organized by a global committee of libraries, publishers, vendors, and information professionals, the event emphasizes conversation, collaboration, and problem-solving across the scholarly communications community. This year’s program focuses on the most pressing topics in scholarly publishing, artificial intelligence, metadata, accessibility, interoperability, and open research infrastructure.
Highlights include sessions such as Keeping the Robots in Line: Provisioning Access to Content for AI Systems, Tracking Usage in the Age of AI, Diversification and Decentralization of Peer Review, Building Trust in AI: Governance, Guardrails, and Human in the Loop, and The Metadata Imperative: Building Interoperable Infrastructure for Research Integrity. Additional sessions will explore accessibility imperatives, evolving discovery pathways, sustainable approaches to AI development, and collaborative interoperability across libraries, vendors, and publishers.
