ACCUCOMS and the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) have announced that the parties have added Eastern Europe to the sales representation territories and have agreed to a multi-year extension of the current agreement.
Since February 2016, ACCUCOMS has been assisting ASM with growing subscription sales in South East Asia, India, the Middle East, North Africa, South Korea and Taiwan. As a result of the successful partnership in those territories, ASM decided to expand and extend the current agreement. Effective January 1, 2017, ACCUCOMS represents ASM in Eastern Europe in addition to the established territories. Moreover, ASM extends the current contract and makes ACCUCOMS the exclusive seller of ASM content in India.
The American Society for Microbiology (ASM) claims to be the oldest and largest single life science membership organization in the world. Membership has grown from 59 scientists in 1899 to more than 48,000 members today. More than half of ASM members come from countries outside the United States. The mission of ASM is to promote and advance the microbial sciences. ASM advances the microbial sciences through conferences, publications, certifications and educational opportunities. It enhances laboratory capacity around the globe through training and resources. It provides a network for scientists in academia, industry and clinical settings.
