Accucoms, a Netherlands-based provider of sales and marketing services to scholarly and society publishers, has announced a new agreement with STM publisher Thieme Publishing Group, to provide global telemarketing support. Accucoms has provided telemarketing support to Thieme since 2005.
The scope of this engagement includes contacting institutional customers subscribing to a selection of journals in printed format around the world. With this initiative, the publisher seeks to make its institutional customers aware of the benefits of online access, and also better understand the reasons why some customers are yet to transition to online access.
Accucoms offers publishers worldwide a sales representation service that includes face-to-face selling, account management, representation at library events, telesales and local language marketing activities.
