ACS and Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI) sign MOU -

The American Chemical Society (ACS) has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI).

ACS and RACI have a shared interest in advancing the chemistry enterprise and its practitioners by identifying solutions to global challenges that confront humanity. As a result, these organizations enter into an MOU to work together to foster connections between the two societies, support the professional development of students and early-career chemists, and communicate the value of chemistry to the public. Activities and events will be guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The MOU extends the connections that ACS and RACI have established as a result of working with other societies on the International Chemical Congress of Pacific Basin Societies (Pacifichem) and ChemRxiv, a free submission, distribution and archive service for unpublished preprints in chemistry and related areas. Coordinating efforts to connect ACS chapters with RACI branches will be a focus of this collaboration.
