AIP Publishing, a division of the American Institute of Physics (AIP), has signed a distribution agreement with publishing innovator SharedBook which makes AIP's catalogue of highly cited journals available through SharedBook's AcademicPub platform. AIP Publishing claims to be the first physical science publisher to make its content available on AcademicPub.
Under the agreement, AcademicPub users will have copyright-cleared access to AIP's 13 scholarly journals, including Journal of Applied Physics, Applied Physics Letters, and The Journal of Chemical Physics.
AcademicPub is an online service that gives educators access to a range of timely publications as well as sources available on the Web, which they can use to assemble high-quality custom course materials in a matter of minutes - without copyright barriers. Customised materials can then be distributed digitally or in print format, making them cost-effective both for institutions and students.
