Copyright Clearance Center (CCC), a not-for-profit organisation providing copyright licensing solutions, has announced a referral partnership with the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP). As a result of this partnership, ALPSP members can earn revenue from their online content utilising CCC's Rightslink Plus service at a discounted rate. Rightslink enables licensing of text and multimedia direct from publishers' online content.
Rightslink Plus automates the permissions process for content re-use with its sophisticated transaction engine, advanced levels of pricing flexibility and licensing options.
The ALPSP claims to be the largest trade association for scholarly and professional publishers. It has more than 360 members in 36 countries, publishing scholarly content in many different ways. Over 10,000 journals are published by ALPSP members as well as numerous books, reports, databases and other products and services.
