The American Foundry Society (AFS) has announced that its journal, International Journal of Metalcasting (IJMC), has been accepted as an accredited source of technical information by Thomson Reuters. In addition, the journal is now included in the Thomson Reuters research and citation database. The database provides a platform for finding scholarly peer-reviewed materials and is also used to evaluate the scientific performance of authors.
The IJMC is included in the Thomson Reuters Science Citation Index Expanded, Materials Science Citation Index, Current Contents/ Engineering, Computing and Technology. It is also included in three other databases: Chemical Abstracts, ProQuest and EBSCO.
A quarterly publication, IJMC is dedicated to leading the transfer of research and technology for the global metalcasting industry. The journal seeks to provide scientific leaders in the industry with the latest developments in metalcasting research and technology.
