The American Geophysical Union (AGU) is renewing its partnership with Wiley, the scientific, medical, technical and scholarly business of John Wiley & Sons, Inc., to help realize the AGU's strategic goal to transform the future of scientific publishing in an evolving marketplace and vision to collaboratively advance and communicate science.
Each year, the AGU publishes more than 6000 original research and review articles reflecting the breadth of science practiced by members of AGU. AGU titles have long been the leading journals for Earth and space sciences. High standards of excellence are ensured by a formal and exacting peer review process.
Since AGU entered into its first partnership with Wiley, it has flourished, demonstrating benefits to scholarly research and communications on a number of fronts.
AGU now publishes over 20 highly respected, peer-reviewed scientific journals covering research across the Earth and space sciences and award-winning books with Wiley. Since 2013, three new open access journals – Earth's Future, Earth & Space Science, and GeoHealth – have been added. The latest addition, GeoHealth, will support the growth in the science that intersects Earth and environmental sciences with human, agricultural and environmental health.
