Healthcare information provider Wolters Kluwer Health, US, has announced that American Medical Software (AMS) has selected its Health Language applications to promote higher-quality clinical documentation and regulatory compliance in its electronic health record (EHR) solutions for physician practices.
American Medical Software will utilise Health Language Meaningful Use Content and Provider Friendly Terminology solutions to enhance diagnosis and problem search, ensuring compliance with Stage 2 Meaningful Use. Health Language mapping solutions will also be leveraged to ensure a successful transition to the new ICD-10 coding system.
