APA and ResearchGate expand Journal Home partnership to full portfolio -

The American Psychological Association (APA), a major scientific and professional organization in the field of psychology, has extended its partnership with ResearchGate to include its entire collection of 88 journals through the Journal Home program. This collaboration builds on a prior agreement that enabled access to more than 300,000 backfile articles via ResearchGate.

The expanded agreement aims to enhance global engagement with APA content by integrating the full journal portfolio—including American Psychologist—into the Journal Home model. The integration will enable automated uploading of APA articles to author profiles on ResearchGate, improving visibility and providing researchers with readership insights. Authors will have new avenues for engaging with their audiences across the research lifecycle.

Dedicated profile pages for each journal will improve discoverability and contextual understanding of journal communities. The platform’s analytics will offer APA detailed metrics and audience reporting, supporting a more data-informed understanding of journal performance and readership trends.

By syndicating APA’s journal content directly to ResearchGate’s network of over 25 million members, the partnership also increases accessibility and usage across the global psychological research community. The collaboration is intended to strengthen APA’s presence within an international readership, broaden author outreach, and facilitate more efficient dissemination of peer-reviewed psychological research.
