ASCE Journals Collection made available to UK universities via NESLi2 initiative -

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) has announced that the ASCE Journals Collection is now available to UK universities through the NESLi2 Small and Medium Publishers initiative. ASCE has entered into a deal with the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) to provide UK institutions with substantially discounted subscriptions to its journals and proceedings collections.

The complete ASCE Journals Collection, which is claimed to be recognised worldwide as the core collection in the field, seeks to provide researchers and practitioners with the latest civil engineering research and its application. The collection's 31 journals cover various disciplines within the profession, and include over 35,000 journal articles on topics such as aerospace; architectural engineering; coastal and ocean engineering; computing in civil engineering; construction engineering; energy engineering; engineering management; engineering mechanics; and environmental engineering.

The collection is also available is the ASCE Online Proceedings collection which includes conference papers from more than 170 ASCE conference proceedings volumes. These technical papers are seen to provide in-depth coverage of emerging technologies and the latest practical applications presented at key conferences around the world.
