ASM and RSNA integrate GetFTR to simplify article access for researchers -

The American Society for Microbiology (ASM) and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) have announced the integration of Get Full Text Research (GetFTR) links within their article references. This enhancement enables researchers to swiftly identify which cited articles are available to them, whether through institutional subscriptions, open access, or as freely available content.

Navigating citations often leads researchers to frustrating paywalls or inaccessible articles. By incorporating GetFTR, ASM and RSNA aim to improve the research workflow, providing seamless, one-click access to referenced content. This advancement reduces barriers to information, allowing researchers to efficiently explore and utilize critical studies.

RSNA underscored the value of GetFTR, noting that the feature greatly enhances accessibility and improves the experience for its members.

The integration was facilitated by Atypon, a leading content platform provider, which continues to support publishers in maximizing the benefits of GetFTR technology.
