The Microbiology Society and Asociación Mexicana de Microbiología, A.C. (AMM) have announced that the AMM has adopted five of the Microbiology Society journals as affiliated titles.
The AMM promotes and supports the teaching of microbiology throughout Mexico and engages with microbiologists around the world through their meetings on biotechnology and industrial microbiology, microbial ecology, microbial genomics, and medical microbiology.
Prof. Jose L. Puente from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) and the President of AMM, is a Section Editor for the Journal of Medical Microbiology and helped create this new collaboration.
Microbiology Society journals are led by carefully selected, prestigious Editorial Boards who ensure rigorous, high-quality peer review, aided by the Society’s in-house publishing team. Authors benefit from rapid publication times and very liberal open access policies, which comply with all funder and institutional open access mandates worldwide, and are not subject to page limits, page charges or colour fees.
