Sybex, an imprint of educational materials publisher Wiley Publishing, Inc., has announced that it has executed a brand licensing agreement with Autodesk, Inc. Under the deal, ten titles on leading Autodesk products will be exclusively designated as ‘Autodesk Official Training Guides.’ Five of these titles are from Sybex’s Mastering series and have been enhanced to cover the learning objectives for Autodesk’s certification exams.
Sybex publishes titles to help readers learn and use Autodesk’s industry-leading software programmes. This includes Autodesk Maya, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Revit Architecture, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Autodesk 3ds Max Design. These co-branded titles are expected to help readers prepare for Autodesk’s Associate and Professional Certification exams and serve as official courseware at the thousands of Autodesk Authorized Training Centers (ATCs) worldwide.
John Wiley & Sons is one of two companies designated by Autodesk as a provider of Autodesk Official Training Guides for 2011 Autodesk Products. The Autodesk Official Training Guide brand ensures that books have been reviewed and recommended by Autodesk for both classroom training and self-paced learning.
