STM Publisher Elsevier has been selected as a 'Partner of Choice' by Bellin Health, an integrated healthcare delivery system that includes two hospitals, an inpatient psychiatric center, multiple mental health services locations, 31 primary care physician clinics, urgent care, retail health clinics and fitness centers. Elsevier will provide Bellin Health with peer-reviewed, evidence-based healthcare information to better connect with patients, fuel more specific questions and achieve improved outcomes.
Bellin Health will be able to use the robust library of Elsevier Interactive Patient Education tools to confidently share with patients the peer-reviewed, evidence-based healthcare information that is consistent with current medical practices and guidelines. The interactive videos, educational handouts, medication management tools and the text and video modules will seamlessly integrate with Bellin Health's Epic EMR and patient portal. Information assigned in the EHR is documented in the patient's health record and directly accessible to patients anytime, anywhere on mobile devices, patient portals and bedside TVs. It also meets Meaningful Use Requirements.
Additionally, included in the Elsevier Interactive Patient Education package for Bellin Health are: Health Library, a consumer-facing solution designed to suggest relevant content to patients via integration with Epic MyChart Patient Portal and MyChart Bedside devices; and MedsOnCue from VUCA Health, a robust medication video library that provides patients with information on what medication they are taking, why they are taking it and potential side effects.
