The National Library of Sweden, on behalf of the Swedish Bibsam Consortium, and academic publisher De Gruyter have signed an agreement, which provides access to De Gruyter journals and includes default and immediate open access publishing.
The Swedish government has set a national goal that all scholarly publications resulting from research financed with public funds should be published immediately open access. De Gruyter's agreement with the Bibsam Consortium ensures 100% open access publishing for authors affiliated to the participating institutions.
For 2018, the subscribing institutions are Stockholm University, University of Gothenburg, Södertörn University, Chalmers University of Technology and the Royal Institute of Technology.
