BioOne and PCG expand databases marketing and sales partnership globally -

BioOne, US, a web-based aggregator of research in biological, ecological and environmental sciences, has announced the global expansion of its existing sales and marketing partnership with research, sales and marketing services provider Publishers Communication Group (PCG). Since September 2008, PCG has been providing BioOne with North American sales and marketing services. From January 2009, it will provide exclusive worldwide marketing, sales representation and library customer service for BioOne and its publishing partners.

BioOne and PCG are working together to ensure a smooth transition, and have assured current subscribers that they will continue to receive uninterrupted access to the BioOne databases. This extended agreement with BioOne will see PCG build on its existing presence in a range of international markets including Latin America, China and Japan.

PCG has appointed Jeff Downing as Global Marketing and Sales Director for BioOne. He was earlier Library Services Director at Ingenta, a sister division of PCG.
