The journal Restoration of Buildings and Monuments (RBM) will be published by Birkhäuser, beginning in 2015. Founded in 1995 by Prof. Folker H. Wittmann (formerly of ETH Zurich), RBM was acquired from the publisher Aedificatio Verlag.
Restoration of Buildings and Monuments will join Birkhäuser's architecture and building catalogue. With its international orientation, the journal represents a valuable enrichment to this portfolio.
RBM will be available in print and online versions six times a year. The sale to Birkhäuser will secure the continued existence of the journal while also ensuring that it is marketed on a broader basis.
