Blackwell to sell Greenwood Publishing Group's online databases -

Publisher Greenwood Publishing Group recently announced that it has entered into an agreement with Blackwell (Library Services Division). Under the deal, Blackwell will act as its non-exclusive agent for the sale of Greenwood's online databases in the US.

Libraries interested in the Greenwood databases may contact Blackwell's internal staff, who works closely with Greenwood to facilitate orders and inquiries - including the gathering of licensing information, trial availability, and follow-up on orders placed on any of the titles. Blackwell aims to help libraries keep the cost of identifying and acquiring books and ebooks as low as possible. The company's tools, services, and partnerships are all built with the concept of creating efficient workflows for libraries. This agreement is a continuation of a long standing and successful relationship between Greenwood and Blackwell.

Greenwood Publishing Group is one of the leading publishers of reference titles, academic and general interest books, texts, books for librarians and other professionals, and electronic reference resources. With over 18,000 titles in print, GPG publishes close to 1,000 books each year.
