Macmillan Education Limited, part of Springer Nature Group, has announced the sale of its Higher Education imprint Red Globe Press to Bloomsbury Publishing Plc following a strategic review.
Red Globe Press, formerly the textbook division of Palgrave Macmillan, publishes quality textbooks primarily in Social Sciences, Humanities, Business, and Study Skills. It serves a growing global market for higher education textbooks, aiming to be the go-to imprint for quality teaching materials for higher education institutions worldwide.
Subject to consultation, approximately 30 people whose roles are dedicated to the Red Globe Press imprint, based in the UK and the US, will join Bloomsbury Publishing Plc due to the sale.
