The BMJ Evidence Centre, part of the BMJ Group, UK, has been awarded a contract by the National Institute for Health Research for Technology Assessment Reviews (TARs).
TARs are commissioned to meet the urgent needs of national NHS decision-making bodies and policy customers, such as the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). They are most commonly produced to inform NICE Appraisal Committee guidance on the use of new and existing medicines, treatments and procedures within the NHS in England and Wales.
The TARs will be produced by the BMJ Evidence Centre in conjunction with the Matrix Knowledge Group.
