BMJ partners with Ex Libris Group to enhance access to BMJ Clinical Evidence -

Healthcare knowledge provider BMJ has announced a partnership with Ex Libris Group, provider of automated library solutions, to enhance access to BMJ Clinical Evidence, an online medical data resource designed for the practice of evidence-based medicine (EBM).

BMJ Clinical Evidence publishes the latest peer-reviewed information on important clinical conditions, as well as providing guidance on good evidence-based practice.

The partnership means that all BMJ Clinical Evidence content will be built into the Primo Central index, a cloud-based service to institutions around the globe, making it faster and easier to search for the right information.

Once BMJ Clinical Evidence has been integrated with Primo Central this will enhance visibility of content to librarians and end users across a library's full collection of resources.

Primo Central is the discovery platform of choice for over 2,000 national, academic, and research libraries around the world. It gives users access to hundreds of millions of scholarly e-resources of global and regional importance.

BMJ Clinical Evidence translates clinical problems into answerable clinical questions and finds quick, accurate, concise, evidence-based answers, plus access to the latest research and guidelines. It sums up what's known - and not known - about more than 650 clinical situations and over 3,200 interventions and is one of the world's most trusted sources of medical evidence.
