International scholarly publisher Brill and China National Publications Import and Export (Group) Corporation (CNPIEC) have announced an agreement to make Brill journals available on CNPIEC’s CNPeReading Platform. With previously established collaborations for Brill’s eBooks, Brill will be able to offer its customers both eBooks and journals in China through CNPeReading.
CNPeReading is an e-Resources platform, self-designed and developed by CNPIEC for institutional customers in China. CNPeReading provides users with a one-stop integration solution for digital content selection, purchase, access and management. With extensive and close cooperation with hundreds of internationally renowned scholarly publishers, society/association publishers, and international organisations, it aims to provide libraries and end users with a vast amount of e-resources and efficient, stable, professional and customised service.
According to Jichen Zhang, President of CNPIEC, Brill and CNPIEC together will provide more professional services to push forward China Academic research, realising complementation of the organisations separate strong suits and a win-win outcome.
