International scholarly publisher Brill, Netherlands, has finalised an agreement with KNNV Publishing (Royal Dutch Society for Natural History Publishers) to distribute their foreign-language academic titles on Wildlife, Nature & Conservation. Initially, over 20 titles will be distributed by Brill, with more forthcoming. Full information on these titles is currently available on the Brill website.
According to Michiel Thijssen, Sr. Acquisitions Editor for Biology and History of Science at Brill, these titles, some of which have been awarded the highest recognition (e.g. BB/BTO Best Bird book), fit Brill’s publication list in biology very well. With its strong global distribution network, Brill seeks to ensure the natural sciences community worldwide has access to the publications of KNNV Publishing.
Started almost 30 years ago by the Royal Dutch Society for Natural History, KNNV Publishing specialises in books on ecology, nature & conservation. Its publications have made nature and wildlife accessible to many nature enthusiasts and are being used by professional nature conservation and research organisations.
