Brill offers book and journal access in Wikipedia pilot -

Academic publisher Brill has kicked-off a pilot with The Wikipedia Library, granting up to 25 of Wikipedia's most active, top editors with access to all publications available on Brill's Books and Journals platform. Participating editors will gain access to over 6,400 e-books and more than 158,000 journal articles in the Humanities and Social Sciences, Law and Biology.

The pilot supports The Wikipedia Library's mission to get top editors access to high quality published research needed to edit and improve Wikipedia articles and cite the respective sources. This strengthens Wikipedia's core principle of "verifiability" while broadening the visibility and impact of Brill publications on the web.

At the close of the pilot, Brill and The Wikipedia Library will review the results and discuss additional opportunities for future collaboration.
