Cannabis and Cannabinoid Research (CCR) has announced that its long time collaborator International Association for Cannabinoid Medicines (IACM) has named CCR as its official journal.
The IACM is an association focused on advancing knowledge on cannabis, cannabinoids, the endocannabinoid system, and related topics with regard to their therapeutic potential. They achieve this through supporting research, promoting the exchange of information, disseminating reliable information, monitoring and documenting developments in the field, and cooperating with organizations and associations that share their goals. This partnership between the IACM and Cannabis and Cannabinoid Research is one that will further the connections within the cannabinoid research community, and benefit all those interested in cannabis and cannabinoid medicines.
Dr. Daniele Piomelli serves as the Editor-in-Chief of CCR. The journal is also the official journal of the International Cannabinoid Research Society (ICRS), the Society of Cannabis Clinicians (SCC), and works in collaboration with Fundación CANNA.
Cannabis and Cannabinoid Research is the premier journal dedicated to the scientific, medical, and psychosocial exploration of clinical cannabis, cannabinoids, and the biochemical mechanisms of endocannabinoids. The journal publishes a broad range of human and animal studies including basic and translational research; clinical studies; behavioural, social, and epidemiological issues; and ethical, legal, and regulatory controversies. Cannabis and Cannabinoid Research is indexed in leading databases such as PubMed Central, EMBASE/Excerpta Medica, Scopus, and ProQuest.
