Open access publisher BioMed Central, UK, has announced that, through the sponsorship of the Health Sciences Library, Case Western Reserve University has re-established a Supporter Membership. The University is one of the pre-eminent research institutions in health sciences, life sciences, and technology in the US today.
Under the terms of Case Western Reserve University’s Supporter Membership arrangement, all researchers supported by the University will benefit from a 15 percent discount on publication fees when publishing in any of BioMed Central’s 200 peer-reviewed open access journals.
BioMed Central is an STM publisher which has pioneered the open access publishing model. All peer-reviewed research articles published by BioMed Central are made immediately and freely accessible online, and are licensed to allow redistribution and reuse. BioMed Central is part of Springer Science+Business Media.
